I have heard that the Doberman pinscher is one of the world's most dangerous dogs. This heart warming tale of one family's Doberman saving the life of their toddler greatly contradicts this belief.

Khan's story is one of a heroic dog rescued from a shelter. Back in 2007, the rescued Doberman Pinscher was at his new home for just four days before he repaid his owners' kindness by saving their daughter from a deadly snake attack.

What about the one I just saw on TV of a CAT saving a child from an attack by a big dog? Flat ran him off.

Hi Harold! Yeah, I saw that video. That cat wasn't playing. The look on her face was hilarious. She was so pissed off. :-) If she hadn't gotten involved, that little boy may have need more than stitches on his leg.

The very coolest thing I have ever seen was just this week. I refilled the hummer feeder and then just stood there in front of it. Wow. A male ruby throat sat down beside a female and sipped from the same 'flower'. JUst like old times at the malt shop. Using two straws in the same glass. I beat myself up for not having a camera for that one. But it is full in my memory.

Aww. Males birds having respect for their mates! Why aren't all men like that?

Next time carry a camera with you outside! The best things animals do they like to do when no one has a camera handy. We have to trick them!
